A Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel tea glass holder, 20th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917. Raised on scalloped foot, the body enameled with stylized dolphins flanking a tree against against a pale blue ground, surrounded with brightly colored scrolls, their heads and scrolls forming a grotesque mask in the Renaissance style, the front with shells and geometric motifs against a forest green ground, the raised, shaped handle pierced three times and enameled with similar decoration, including applied cloisons in a spiral pattern and polish gilt beads. Struck with Artel’s mark and 84 standard. Height: 4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm). Gross weight: 190 grams.
