A Fabergé jeweled silvergilt table lighter, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, St. Petersburg, circa 1895. The ovoid lighter in Neo-classical taste, the top applied with chased ribbon-tied laurel bands and swags, with tiny cabochon sapphires centering the chased flowerheads from which the floral ornament is “suspended,” with beaded bands about the top and middle, raised on three ball feet. Struck with workmaster’s mark, 88 silver standard, and Fabergé inventory number 1350 or 1356. Gross weight: 105 grams. Height without cord: 3 1/8 in. (8 cm).
