Description

A Fabergé gold-mounted gilded silver & guilloché enamel cigarette case, workmaster Michael Perchin, Saint Petersburg, circa 1899-1903, with later scratched inventory number Z239. Rounded rectangular, enameled in translucent apple green over a sunburst engine-turned ground, the sides defined with separate wavy grounds, finished with a cabochon moonstone thumbpiece. Dimensions: 3 1/2 in. x 2 3/8 in. (8.9 x 5.9 cm).
