An exceptional Fabergé silver teapot and burner stand, workmaster Julius Rappoport, Saint Petersburg, circa 1895, with original Fabergé scratched inventory number 2355. In Neo-Rococo taste, the fluted body and spout chased with scrolls, the sculptural C-scroll handle with bone insulators, raised on a burner stand of four scrolling legs, the teapot affixed with key and chain. Height (including burner stand): 8 3/4 in. (22 cm); width over handle 7 1/4 in. (18 cm).
