An important and unusually large Fabergé gilded silver and guilloché enamel tenth anniversary photograph frame, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, Saint Petersburg, circa 1904-1908, with scratched inventory number 15679; of rectangular form with raised central arch, enameled in translucent green over a wavy engine-turned ground, centering a rectangular aperture within a ribbon-tied laurel border, surmounted by a gilt Roman numeral ‘X’ within a ribbon-tied laurel wreath, set with rosettes at the corners, all within a leaf tip border; the wood back applied with a scrolling gilded silver strut. Struck with workmaster’s Latin initials, K. Fabergé in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant, and 91 standard. Size: 14 1/2 x 9 in. (36.8 cm x 22.8 cm).
