A large Fabergé Art Nouveau silver sugar bowl, Moscow, 1908-1917. The inverted urn form resting on a flared ring foot and the sides mounted with matching decorative handles, chased and repoussé with scrolling vines and shell form, and the hinged lid with pinecone shaped finial. Struck K. Fabergé under the Imperial Warrant in Cyrillic, 84 silver fineness standard, and with scratched inventory number 16870. Gross weight: 616 grams. Width over handles 8 inches (20 cm).
