A Norwegian gilded silver and plique-à-jour enamel tea strainer, circa 1900. The shaped rim of the pierced strainer exuberantly decorated with brightly colored blossom and petals in shades of strawberry red, turquoise and lime green, the scrolling handle with conforming ornament, apparently unmarked, almost certainly from the workshop of Marius Hammer or David Andersen. Length: 4 ¾ in. (12 cm).
