A rare Tsarevich Alexey Nikolaevich Imperial porcelain presentation Easter egg, Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg, after 1904. The front of the egg centered with Alexey Nikolaevich’s Imperial cypher in ciselé gilt Old Slavonic letters surmounted by the Imperial crown, the upper aperture with a gilt band, held on original red ribbon, now somewhat faded, with knotted rosette bottom. Height of egg alone 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm).
