A Russian goblet from the service for the Romanov Tercentenary, Imperial Glassworks, Saint Petersburg, dated 1911. In the eighteenth-century style with faceted baluster stem & spreading foot, the faceted bowls engraved & gilded with the Imperial monograms of Nicholas II & Alexandra Fedorovna centering military trophies & placed opposite the black, double-headed Imperial eagle, with gilded rim. Height: 8 1/4″ h. (21. cm).

This extraordinarily large service of 1,050 pieces in total was commissioned from the Imperial Glassworks for the celebrations of the Tercentenary of the Romanov Dynasty in 1913.
