A Russian parcel gilt charka, Moscow, circa 1896-1904; struck with Cyrillic maker’s marks SM, probably for Semen Myasoedov. The oval, shaped bowl applied with engraved flowering vines and ribbons, the ribbons forming a shaped cartouche inside of which is engraved in Cyrillic ‘IO 19 VII 1905 VA,’ the curved handle cast, chased, and engraved as the branch from which the vines extend, the interior gilded.
