A Russian shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh, Moscow, 1908-1917. Of typical form, the lobed body enameled with stylized floral ornament in shades of aubergine, lapis, peach, cinnamon, dove grey, and emerald green within applied cables, the hook handle with stylized anethmia and geometric ornament within turquoise beaded borders, struck with partially obscured maker’s mark, possibly M.G., for an unidentified master.
