A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel Easter egg, Maria Semenova, 1899-1908. The exterior of the egg enameled in an unusual patter of red and white sheaves within green archived frames, the end with stylized flowerheads with blue leaves, the rims with bands of turquoise beads within cable borders. Struck on the interior with maker’s mark and 84 silver standard. Gross weight 77 grams. Height 2 3/8 in. (6 cm).
