A Russian silver-mounted cut glass bowl with silver lid, Petr Fariseev, Moscow, circa 1908-1917. The round cut glass bowl, probably intended for serving caviar, wheel engraved with a pattern of diamonds with a hobnail border, the upper rim cast and chased with a band of berry laurel leaf tips, the silver slip-on with a beaded border and floriate finial, the interior of the cover gilded. Struck with maker’s mark and 84 standard. Dimensions: 4 in. h x 4 3/4 in. diam. (10.2 x 12.1 cm).
