A Fabergé gold and enamel tie or stick pin, workmaster Erik Kollin, St. Petersburg, circa 1895. The terminal formed of a gold coin of the era of Catherine II dated 1777, the empress’ profile portrait and the inscription serving as ground for a hatched surface enameled with transparent red enamel, with a band of white opaque enamel, the top of the twist pin struck with workmaster’s marks and 56 standard (equivalent to 14K). Length 3 ¼ in. (8.3 cm).
