A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonné enamel casket, 11th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917. The hinged lid and sides of the rectangular casket centered with a stylized flowerhead within a band of anthemia flanked by tulips with scrolling stems, all reserved against a stippled gilt ground, the borders with stylized floral ornament against transparent and mottled enameled grounds, the lid with green thumbpiece in a silver gilt mount. Struck with maker’s mark and 84 silver standard. Dimensions: 3 1/8 in. H x 4 7/8 in. W x 3 3/4 in D (7.9 x 12.3 x 9.5 cm).
