A Russian jeweled varicolor gold-mounted gilded silver and guilloché enamel pillbox, Ivan Britzin, Saint Petersburg, 1908-1917. The hinged lid of the cushion form box centered with a rose cut diamond in a chased calyx-form mount, enameled translucent mauve over a wavy engine-turned ground, the lid with a border of opaque white champlevé enamel set with chased and engraved green gold leaves and red gold dots, the thumbpiece with rose cut diamonds.
