A Fabergé two color gold-mounted gilded silver and guilloché enamel vesta or match case, workmaster Anna Ringe, Saint Petersburg, 1904-1908, Fabergé scratched inventory number 15874. The rounded rectangular case enameled translucent white over a wavy, engine-turned ground, the red gold mount with a chased laurel of green gold, the hinged lid opening by means of a blue topaz cabochon pushpiece, set with suspension ring, the underside engraved as a strike plate, the interior gilded, contained in its original fitted Fabergé silk- and velvet-lined holly wood case.
