A Russian gilded silver & shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh by Feodor Rückert, retailed by Ovchinnikov, 1899-1908. Of traditional oval form with a shaped hook handle, the body decorated with brightly-color scrolling floral & foliate ornament against a cream ground, the upper rim with a band of white beads, the handle with conforming ornament, all within twisted cable borders. Struck with the mark of Ovchinnikov with Imperial Warrant overstriking Rückert’s mark & with 88 standard. Length: 6 in. (15.2 cm).
