A Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel card case, Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, circa 1899-1908. Enameled on both sides with brightly colored stylized flowers and scrolling foliage, all outlined in highly polished, twisted cloisons and reserved against a creamy yellow ground within a pale blue beaded border. With gilded interior and gilded silver pushpiece. Dimensions: 3 ¾ x 2 ¼ in. (9.5 x 5.7 cm).
