A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel bowl, Nikolai Alekseev, Moscow, 1899-1908. The lobed circular body colorfully enameled with stylized floral and foliate motifs against alternating red, cream and olive green grounds; separated by ropework borders. A scrolling floral design against a turquoise ground and a band of chased beading completes the upper rim. Height: 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm). Diameter: 3 in. (7.6 cm).
