Pavel Mikhailovich Bykov (1888-1953), a Soviet revolutionary, composed this book on government orders as a response to the White Russian’s investigation of the murder of the Imperial family, published in Paris in 1925. This book is notable for including the names of the persons who took part in the executions of both the Imperial family and the Grand Dukes, information which was redacted in both Russian and German reprints in 1928 and 1930.
