A Russian late 17th-century silver charka. The circular body richly decorated with alternating open lobes and lobes with stylized floral and foliate designs. The shaped flat handle further adorned with a double-headed eagle against a field of floral and foliate designs and a stippled ground. Apparently unmarked. Diameter: 6 in. (15.2 cm); length including handle 8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm). Weight: 166 grams.
