A Russian jeweled gold-mounted gun metal ladies cigarette case, circa 1900. Rounded rectangular, both of the hinged covers partially engraved in a net pattern with rose-cut diamonds set at the intersections of the lines, the upper left corner of the cover inlaid with an engraved gold stem of lilies-of-the-valley, the blossoms set with pearls and the leaves with rose-cut diamonds, with a large rose-cut diamond pushpiece in gold collet mount, apparently unmarked, almost certainly by the Imperial court jeweler Bolin. Dimensions: 3 1/4 x 2 in. (8.4 x 5.1 cm)
