A Russian porcelain soup plate from the Kremlin Service made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, ST Petersburg, Nicholas I period (1825 – 1855). The center, painted with stylized foliage with blue and green flower heads around a red rosette against a black ground. The leaf-tip border surrounded by a radiating band of stylized pine trees, against a tooled and burnished gilt ground. Diameter: 9 1/2″ (24.1 cm).
