A Russian gilded silver and guilloché enamel miniature kovsh with coins, Saint Petersburg, 1904-1908. Of traditional shape, the exterior of the bowl enameled a pale translucent pink over an engine-turned ground, the interior of the bowl set with a part enameled coin commemorating the life of Franz Konrad von Stadion und Thannhausen (1679–1757), Prince-Bishop of Bamberg from 1753 to 1757, the shaped and pierced handle set with a part enameled Bavarian 1 Kreuzer coin dated 1865. Struck with Cyrillic initials GS of an unidentified silversmith and 84 silver standard. Length 2 ¾ in. (7 cm).
