In Neoclassical taste, the exterior of the tapering bowl with a gilt band above a surface enameled translucent strawberry red over a wavy engine turned ground, the spreading foot with acanthus leaf border. Struck on the upper border with workmaster’s initials & 88 silver standard & later Soviet control mark, the underside of the foot with Fabergé scratched inventory number 10920. Height 1 7/8 in. (4.7 cm).
