A Fabergé jeweled gold & guilloché enamel pendant egg, Moscow, circa 1900. The front of the egg with a shamrock set with rose cut blue topaz & gold stem. Struck with KF in Cyrillic & 56 standard. Height (not including larger suspension ring): 5/8 in. (1.7 cm).
The three leaves of the shamrock are said to represent the Holy Trinity & are a fitting symbol of Easter. The 1902 Fabergé Clover Imperial Easter Egg is made of enameled & diamond-set shamrocks, or three-leaf clover.
