A Fabergé two color gold & guilloché enamel photograph frame, workmaster Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1895, scratched inventory number 54178. Of rectangular form, enameled in pink translucent enamel over an engine turned ground, the aperture framed in seed pearls, with a yellow gold laurel border & rose gold foliate corners, the back with an unusual lyre-form strut, suggesting that it was commissioned for a musician. Dimensions: 3 3/4 x 2 3/8 in. (9.5 x 6.2 cm).
