A Russian parcel gilt charka, Moscow, circa 1899-1904; struck with Cyrillic maker’s marks SM, probably for Semen Myasoedov.The oval, shaped bowl applied with engraved flowering vines & ribbons, the ribbons forming a shaped cartouche inside of which is engraved in Cyrillic ‘IO 19 VII 1905 VA,’ the curved handle cast, chased, & engraved as the branch from which the vines extend, the interior gilded.
