A Scandinavian silver gilt & guilloché & plique-à-jour enamel bud vase or posey holder, probably David Andersen, retailed by K. Anderson, Stockholm, circa 1905. The exterior enameled a forest green over a wavy engine-turned ground, the upper border with a band of six purple pansies in plique-à-jour enamel, the base of the vase encircled by a band of turquoise forget-me-nots, raised on four feet set with deep purple-blue flowers with green leaves between. Struck with retailer’s mark KA for retailer K. Anderson & silver control marks dated 1904 or 1907. Height 4 in. (10.2 cm).
