A set of six Fabergé gold & white guilloché enamel buttons, Eduard Kortman, St. Petersburg, 1904-1908, with scratched inventory number 6162. The circular buttons enameled translucent over a radiating engine-turned ground, the back fixed with small loops, contained in original silk- & velvet-lined fitted box contained in their original Fabergé fitted holly wood box. Struck with master’s initials & 56 standard. Diameter: 1/2 in. (1.3 cm) each.
St. Petersburg jeweler Eduard Ivanonovich Kortman produced jeweled awards for the Imperial court & was a supplier to Fabergé.
