A Russian silver gilt & shaded cloisonné enamel bowl, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1899-1908. The bulbous circular bowl with raised drop-shape panels outlined with cable borders & enameled with brightly-colored stylized tulips in shades of magenta, red, purple, & white against alternating grounds of pale blue, celadon green, & pale mottled peach, all reserved against a forest green ground with red & white foliate motifs. The underside struck with maker’s mark & 84 silver standard, & with a dedicatory inscription, probably in honor of a housewarming, dated 1903. Dimensions: 1 7/8″ h x 3 1/4″ dia. (4.8 x 8.3 cm).
