An exquisite Faberge enamel, gold and diamond miniature pendant egg, workmaster Alfred Thielemann, St Petersburg, circa 1908-1917. The body of the egg enameled in deep translucent cobalt blue over a hatched ground, the front set with 3 diamonds. Struck on the bail with 56, the Russian gold standard (14k equivalent) and the workmaster’s initials. Height: 7/8″ including bale.
