A Fabergé gold & mauve guilloché enamel photograph frame, Moscow, 1899-1908, with original Fabergé scratched inventory number 25205. Of circular form, enameled in translucent mauve enamel over a radiating engine-turned ground within a thin band of opaque white enamel with chased gold borders, the circular aperture with similar opaque white enamel & chased gold band bezel, surmounted by a rose gold bowknot, the fruitwood back with scrolling gilded silver strut. The frame struck with KF in Cyrillic & 56 standard, the strut with KF in Cyrillic & 84 standard. Dimensions: 2 1/8″ h x 1 7/8″ w (5.4 x 4.7 cm).
