A Fabergé silver gilt, cloisonné & plique-à-jour enamel spoon, Moscow, 1899-1908. Decorated in the Russian Style, or Pan-Slavic taste, the back of the egg shape bowl richly enameled with stylized tulips & roses, the roses inspired by Scottish & British Art Nouveau designs, in an asymmetric design rendered in an unusual range of colors, including rose, royal blue, & black, with reserved areas of stippled gilt ground, the shaped, flat handle similarly decorated with shaped reserves of transparent purple plique-à-jour enamel. Struck with K. Fabergé in Cyrillic with Imperial standard & 88 standard (916.6). Length: 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm).
