An exquisite Faberge silver gilt and guilloche enamel box, workmaster Henrik Wigstrom, St. Petersburg, circa 1908-1917 with original Faberge scratched inventory number 22680. Rectangular in form with hinged lid, the entire body enameled in translucent pearl white over a wavy engine turned ground. The interior marked with workmaster’s marks, scratched inventory number, 88 Russian silver standard and “FABERGE” in Latin letters with London import marks, suggesting that this box was most likely made for sale in Faberge’s London sale room.
