A Fabergé two-color gold mounted jeweled gilded silver & guilloché enamel triple-opening vanity case, workmaster Henrik Wigström, ST Petersburg, 1908-1917, with original Fabergé scratched inventory number 29840 or 20840. The rectangular case of oval section, decorated in Neoclassical style, each of the three hinged compartments enameled translucent mauve-grey over a wavy engine-turned ground within white opaque enamel borders & centered with collet-set rose cut diamonds, the central compartment applied with diamond-set chased green gold laurel swags with a rose gold bowknot, all within chased varicolor gold laurel borders, the central powder compartment with original mirror, each compartment with a separate gold thumbpiece set with rose cut diamonds.Length: 4 3/8 in.
