A Russian silver gilt & shaded cloisonné enamel three-handled cup, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, circa 1899-1908, scratched inventory number 1125 or 9125. Of baluster form, the lower section with lobed cartouches outlined with applied cable borders, the upper row enameled with griffins, symbol of the House of Romanov, or stylized tulips on a pale green mottled ground, the lower register enameled with brightly-colored abstracted tulips on olive grounds, all above a band of blue enamel applied with scrolling cloisons, the uppermost band enameled with exuberantly stylized & brightly colored tulips & daisies on a pale peach ground, the shaped handles with conforming ornament. Struck with workmaster’s initials & 88 standard. Height: 3 in. (7.6 cm).
