A Russian silver-gilt & shaded cloisonné enamel spoon, Feodor Rückert, Moscow, 1908-1917. The spoon in traditional 16th- or 17th-century style & Pan-Slavic or Russian Revival taste, the back of the circular bowl enameled with a brightly-colored stylized pomegranate flanked by scrolls in various shades of blue, & framed with stylized pairs of daisies & strawberries, all against a mottled tan ground, the various design elements outlined with fine silver-gilt cables & heightened with polished silver-gilt cloisons, the top of the handle enameled with conforming beads, the end with a spiral pattern of translucent forest green, aubergine, & sapphire blue, the mitre terminal with similarly enameled teardrop panels. Struck with maker’s marks & 84 standard. Length: 6 1/4 in. (15.9 cm).
