A Norwegian silver gilt & plique-à-jour enamel serving spoon, Jacob Tostrup, Oslo, Norway, circa 1890. The oval shapedbowl is decorated with plique-à-jour enamel of blue, purple & red florals, the handle also adorned withsimilar purpleleaves &ared flower finial. The wide spoon was intended for serving berries or other fruits. Struck with maker’s mark & 925 silver standard. Length: 43/4 in. (12 cm).
