A 14 piece Russian porcelain tea set, almost certainly the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Alexander I (1801-1825). In the Empire Style, comprising a tea pot, a cake or waste bowl, and six cups and saucers, with raspberry ground and gilt anthemia, the handles, feet, and spout with extensive polished gilding. Apparently unmarked, the undersides with various numbers incised in the paste. The teapot 7 1/8 in. h (18 cm.).
