A Scandinavian silver gilt & plique-a-jour enamel cigarette case, apparently no maker’s mark, retailed by Harold J. Hurlburt in London, circa 1900. Of rectangular form with rounded corners, the case completely decorated inmulti-color translucent scrolling floral, foliate & geometric enamel motifs. Dimensions: 3 5/8 in. x 2 1/4 in. (9.2 x 5.7 cm).
