The icon showing the saint at half length, dressed in bishop’s robes and holding the Gospels, the gilded silver oklad with arch-shaped aperture enameled with a border of scrolls and dots, the upper left and right and corners with stylized blossoms in Neo-Byzantine style, the cover struck with maker’s marks and 84 silver standard, the back of the icon covered with silk velvet and affixed with suspension ring. 5 3/8 in. h x 4 1/2 in. w.
