A Russian silver & guilloché enamel cigarette case, Mikhail Isakov, St. Petersburg, circa 1890. Rounded rectangular, the hinged lid applied with the enameled Imperial cypher of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich beneath the Imperial crown, complete with vesta compartment & tinder chain. Struck with maker’s mark & 84 silver fineness standard. Dimensions: 3 7/8 in x 2 1/2 in. (9.8 x 6.4 cm).
