A Russian guilloche enamel and gold mounted pencil holder, apparently unmarked but attributed to Ivan Britzen. The holder enameled in translucent mauve over a wavy engine turned ground, with narrow oyster white bands at each end. The ribbed dome finial is fitted with an elongated suspension ring. Length: 3 1/2 in. including suspension ring.

Condition: Chip to the enamel, otherwise in excellent condition.
