A Russian carved nephrite, guilloche enamel, gold and ruby cane handle, unknown maker’s marks, circa 1900. The cylindrical nephrite handle precisely carved with grooves above a gold collar, the borders chased with ribbon-tied laurels, the center with a band of translucent pink enamel over a wavy engine turned ground, applied with ruby set gold chased floral swags. Struck on the collar and swag with maker’s marks. Length: 4.765 in. (11.87 cm).
