A Russian porcelain cup & saucer from the Everyday Service of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich (later Alexander III) service, Imperial Porcelain Factory, 1889 & 1892. Decorated with the future Tsar’s crowned Imperial cypher within lavender & gilt-edged borders, the saucer similarly decorated. The undersides with stamped green Imperial cypher mark of Alexander III dated [18]89 & [18]92 respectively. Height of cup: 2 3/4 in. (7 cm); diameter of saucer: 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm).
