A Russian silver gilt & shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh-form salt with matching spoon, Maria Semenova, Moscow, 1899-1908. Of traditional form, the kovsh decorated with scrolling floral & foliate motifs against a gilded stippled ground, the spoon similarly decorated. Dimensions of kovsh: 1 1/2″ h x 2 7/8″ (3.8 x 7.3 cm). Length of spoon: 2 1/4″ (5.7 cm).
