A beautiful Russian cloisonne and guilloche enamel silver-gilt casket. Mark of Maria Semenova, Moscow, circa 1908-1917. Rectangular on four bracket feet, with a hinged clasp, the centre of the shaped hinged cover with a panel of translucent green enamel over a wavy guilloché ground, the border and body cloisonné enamelled with varicolour shaded scrolling foliate design, marked under base. 3 5/8″ (9.2cm) wide.
