A Russian gilded silver & shaded cloisonné enamel kovsh, Moscow, 1908-1917. The exterior of the round bowl enameled with a brightly-colored stylized blossom against a mottled dove grey ground between panels enameled transparent navy blue & forest green reserving blue daisies & magenta triangle, all heightened with applied gilt coils, the handle formed as a fearsome bird with curved neck. Struck on the underside with obscured maker’s mark, possibly that of the 6th Moscow Artel, & 84 silver standard (equivalent to 875). Length 3 ¾ in. (9.5 cm).
